Your Learning Journey

At Infinity Maths students are guided through a progressive learning journey from Key Stage 3, GCSE and A-Level maths.

Key Stage 3

The Key Stage 3 Maths course has been designed to gently introduce your child to the various aspects of the Key Stage 3 Maths curriculum.

The course is divided into three one year sections, corresponding to the school years, 7, 8 and 9. Some students may take three years to complete the course, others may take two years or proceed even more quickly. By the end of the course, students should be in a good position to tackle a GCSE or IGCSE programme.

The course covers the National Curriculum for Years 7 to 9, otherwise known as Key Stage 3.

GCSE

The GCSE Maths course initially enables students to master basic mathematical skills, before progressing using more challenging, advanced material as their abilities develop.

The programme has been designed for the new 9-1 GCSE Maths curriculum.

Students will be prepared rigorously to confidently take the examination for all exam boards.

A-Level

The A-Level Maths curriculum is designed for students to study the Pearson Edexcel Level 3 Advanced GCE in Mathematics. It is split into two components, Pure and Applied, the latter of which consists of Statistics and Mechanics in an equal weighting.

Assessments are designed to reward students for demonstrating the ability to provide responses that draw together different areas of their knowledge, skills and understanding from across the full course.
